Project Professionals Group Publishes Guide for Logistics Managers

Project Professionals Group

July 16, 2008

Project Professionals Group, a specialist in the handling of project cargo, has created a pocket booklet aimed at logistics professionals. The 65-page publication features information on implementing cost-effective and reliable services. It includes contacts for international service suppliers, common conversion factors, Beaufort wind scale, phonographic alphabet, sea container specifications, fleet lists of major carriers, cargo aircraft specifications, chartering terms and definitions, and hazardous materials definitions. The book was compiled by project freight professionals and includes information that they use on a daily basis, according to the company. A free PDF copy is available to industry professionals via the Project Professionals website. Hard copies are also available for purchase by e-mail from the site. PPG members will receive a hard copy during the group's annual conference in Aarhus, Denmark from August 27-31, 2008.
