Harsco Corporation, a global industrial services company, has selected information technology company IBM as its consulting partner for a supply chain transformation initiative. After determining where improvements company can be made, IBM is to develop a road map for a fully integrated supply chain encompassing sourcing, procurement, logistics, planning, cash management, inventory and order management.

IBM teams are scheduled to begin work this month at Harsco's headquarters near Harrisburg, Pa. IBM will also work with Harsco to improve efficiencies and economies in Harsco's worldwide selling, general and administrative cost structure.
