C.H. Robinson Forms Logistics Division for Chemical Industry

C.H. Robinson Worldwide Inc. has formed a new division to offer logistics services to chemical manufacturers and distributors. Dubbed ChemSolutions, the unit can provide chemical bulk shipping, safety and sustainability, freight forwarding, customs brokerage, vendor and supplier compliance, global trade management and multimodal transportation.

The operation has earned RC14001 certification, which combines Responsible Care and ISO 14001 certifications into a single process, based on an international standard that is accepted by chemical manufacturers worldwide. C.H. Robinson Worldwide maintains a service network of more than 230 offices, with over 8,300 employees.
