NPA Coatings, a subsidiary of Nippon Paints of Japan, will implement Deacom’s accounting and enterprise resource planning system across two divisions at its headquarters in Cleveland.

A producer of finishes primarily for the automotive industry, NPA Coatings selected the Deacom product to replace multiple non-integrated systems used to handle its business and lab processes. Formulation, labeling, quality control testing, and regulatory reporting were performed outside of the ERP system, requiring numerous manual and electronic workarounds.

“Our old software systems were very dated and kept us from optimizing the way we work,” says CFO Gary Rizzardi. “The switch to Deacom should really help us manage our business more effectively and help us to continue to grow.”
