The D.W. Morgan Co. has expanded its supply-chain management and transport logistics services in Mexico. Having provided forwarding services in Mexico for nearly a decade, Morgan has now established a corporate presence in Guadalajara. The company will deploy its own dedicated fleet of trucks in Mexico, transporting goods for high-tech manufacturers throughout the country, as well as to North America. Morgan said it chose Guadalajara because it is a burgeoning high-tech manufacturing and distribution center, and because of its proximity to Texas, where the company has operations in Austin, Dallas and Houston. Morgan combines transportation management and logistics services with real-time information and strategic consulting. It provides services in more than 85 countries.
