Servigistics has chosen Entercoms as a value-added reseller of its strategic service-management software in the Southeast Asia market. In addition to selling Servigistics applications, services and support, Entercoms will act as a business process-outsourcing partner. The new partners said the move was in response to growing demand by global organizations for the expansion of services into the India market. They cited a prediction by Forrester research that India's population will eclipse China's by the year 2030. Gartner has forecasted substantial growth in the Indian enterprise application software market within the next five years. Headquartered in India, Entercoms already has experience in deploying Servigistics' software, assisting with implementations at Komatsu America Corp., Toshiba Medical, NCR, Sun Microsystems and several clients in the aerospace and defense sector.
