Seko, Local Partner Commence Operations in Dubai Under New Management

Seko Worldwide | May 21, 2008

Seko Worldwide has opened a new logistics facility in Dubai, in conjunction with locally based Center Point Logistics. Now under new management, Seko's Dubai office is located close to the Dubai/Abu Dhabi Airport and the Jebel Ali Seaport. It serves all major trade lanes through the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which is made up of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. The office also serves trade lanes throughout other development markets with significant imports from major points throughout Asia, the company said. Center Point Logistics is currently building a warehouse facility that will feature more than 100,000 square meters of space. Negotiations are underway to secure additional premises throughout all major logistics hubs in the UAE and Middle East, Seko said. The Dubai office serves both the import and export trade with customs brokerage and warehouse-management services for short-term and other types of value-added services. It has a staff of more than 20.
