PureShare has developed PureShare SingleView IT, Web-based software for monitoring IT service-management operations. Built on the PureShare ActiveMetrics platform, SingleView IT offers an in-depth view of IT service-management operations. According to the vendor, it is especially useful for managers of help desks, network operations centers and call centers that require quick access to accurate status information. Companies can use the framework to monitor trends, receive critical alerts about conditions that require immediate attention, and automate data collection from any internal or external source. SingleView IT is based on metrics and best practices from companies ranging from the Global 1000 to mid-sized organizations. Managers can eliminate manual reporting and get access to timely answers in one place, PureShare said. Metrics are gathered from key systems, including incident, problem and change management; automated call-distribution systems; network and system-management tools, and knowledge bases. The interactive dashboards incorporate service-level and operating-level agreements, which can be edited directly or drawn from any source, including spreadsheets. SingleView IT allows for the integration of data in any format from any source, including non-IT applications such as customer-relationship management, enterprise resource planning and data warehouses.
