Purolator USA, a provider of cross-border logistics services, has expanded its service to the U.S.-Canadian border. The company, which maintains a full-service processing center in Los Angeles, is now operating dual linehauls, via air and ground, to its Chicago and Seattle induction facilities. The enhancement will make it easier for businesses in Los Angeles and other points in the U.S. to access the Canadian market, Purolator said. Purolator maintains an extensive distribution network across Canada, providing direct access to points throughout the country. As a result, U.S. shipments can reach their final destinations without having to undergo a distribution-center stopover. Purolator's D.C. bypass capabilities, coupled with its consolidation services, can shave several days off a typical distribution calendar, according to Los Angeles branch manager Santino Anderson.
