Arena Quality allows users to identify, collaborate on and resolve product quality problems. Quality processes are connected to the product record in Arena PLM. Engineering, operations and supply chain can participate in problem resolution, while preparing for audits by the International Organization for Standards, U.S. Food & Drug Administration and other organizations, the vendor said. Users of Arena Quality can create and customize templates to support quality processes. They can also assign work, collaborate and view the progress of outstanding issues. E-mailed notifications are displayed in the Arena Quality dashboard. The tool allows for explicit phase closure with 21 CFR Part 11-compliant electronic signatures. Arena Quality also captures a complete history of quality processes, down to field-level edits. Arena Quality will become generally available later in June.
