CaroTrans Adds Weekly, Direct Connection Between New York and Marseilles
By: CaroTrans May 14, 2014
CaroTrans, the non-vessel operating common carrier and ocean freight consolidator, has expanded its less-than-containerload and full-containerload services between the U.S. and France, with the addition of a direct, weekly New York-Marseilles service.
The NVO’s U.S.-France network features service between five U.S. gateways and Le Havre, France. CaroTrans established a dedicated branch office in Le Havre in 2012 to support its European and global network. The new route, it says, was in response to customer demand for additional service to such cities as Lyon, Nice and Toulouse. CaroTrans provides online track-and-track visibility, as part of its end-to-end shipment-management service.
