By: Chainalytics May 07, 2014
Chainalytics has taken over Sydney-based Logiworx, a partner since 2009 in several supply chain management projects in the Asia-Pacific region. With the acquisition, Chainalytics gains expertise in verticals such as mining, metals, oil and gas, as well as extending capacity in supply management and procurement of direct and indirect materials.
Chainalytics will center its Asia-Pacific operational division around the Logiworx practice. Tim Foster, Logiworx partner and co-founder, will remain with the firm and take on the role of managing director at Chainalytics for Asia-Pacific. “I am looking forward to building out Chainalytics’ Asia-Pacific footprint, including adding a Singapore office by the middle of the year.”
Logiworx engagements include Clorox, Nissan, LG, Komatsu and others.
“Logiworx has an impressive consulting track record in supply chain design, transportation, logistics and S&OP,” says J. Michael Kilgore, president & CEO of Chainalytics. “They are an outstanding extension of our brand of forward-thinking, fast-moving, best-in-class supply chain consultants.”
