The service is due to commence from Shanghai in early November. It will operate with seven vessels of 4,250 twenty-foot equivalent (TEU) capacity, with three of the vessels provided by CMA CGM, two by OOCL and one each by CSCL and PIL. The service will replace the current ANZEX/NZN offering of CMA CGM and OOCL. It will offer a weekly frequency with a 49-day turnaround. The partners will provide port coverage in Asia and New Zealand, and include a stop at an Australian port on the return from Asia. The full port rotation and phase-in plan will be announced when final arrangements are made, the lines said.
