By: Crystal & Company May 15, 2014
Crystal & Company, a strategic risk and insurance advisory service, has launched a Web-based tool to manage supply-chain risk.
Data entered into the new online platform produces a financial model, which quantifies the potential revenue and earnings impact of a supply-chain disruption. The process provides the underwriter with the information needed to insure an organizationís supply-chain risks, the company said. Drawing on supplier, sourcing and financial information, the tool was developed to provide underwriters with an understanding of companiesí process flows, supplier resilience, inventory redundancy and business-continuity plans. The system can be tailored to the sourcing practices and internal structures of each user, Crystal & Company said.
