GENCO Rebrands Company Name Following Merger With ATC

GENCO ATC, the product of a merger in 2010 between GENCO and ATC Technology Corp., is being rebranded under the GENCO name alone.

GENCO is a provider of services for product lifecycle management and reverse logistics. It operates 130 warehouses, totaling 38 million square feet, and manages $1.5bn in freight annually throughout North America. Its products include inbound logistics; warehousing and distribution; fulfillment; contract packaging; transportation management; systems integration; returns processing and disposition; testing, repair and refurbishment; product liquidation, and recycling. GENCO ATC was formed in October of 2012, the two-year anniversary of the companies’ merger. GENCO said the retirement of the ATC name unites the organization under a single brand and builds on “the strengths of one organization.” In a related announcement, GENCO said that Herb Shear and Todd R. Peters have been appointed to the positions of executive chairman and chief executive officer, respectively.
