Goodman’s total investment value in the facility exceeds €30m.
The 35,000-square-meter property is currently leased on a long-term agreement to a Danish logistics service provider and will become part of the Goodman European Logistics Fund (GELF) portfolio.
In the course of the acquisition, GELF also secured the opportunity to develop an additional 12,000 square meters of logistics space on the site, which can be leased in smaller units. For logistics service providers, the site offers tri-modal connection to road, rail and the Altenwerder container terminal. Deliveries can be made to the planned new development from two sides, so faster transshipment is possible and generous outdoor areas are available, for freight containers.
