It provides visibility to critical data such as inventory levels, product information, customer history (including access to a customer’s universal online shopping cart) and customer preferences to associates who interact with the “omni-channel” customer. The tool also features in-store mobility, giving retail associates standard point-of-sale capabilities as well as support for guided price negotiation and alternative delivery options, all via a mobile device. Unique customer and supply-chain strategies can be configured into JDA Customer Engagement Cloud, which also helps to shape inventory utilization with days-of-supply calculations and profitability algorithms. Other features include allocated inventory optimization, customer order management and omni-channel price execution. The new app is delivered by JDA Cloud Services.
