Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics has added Novorossiysk as an additional entry port into Russia, as part of its Asia-Europe service.
The new destination serves as an additional inducement port in WWL’s liner service from Japan, Korea, China and Southeast Asia to Europe, providing customers in Asia with direct access to the Russian Black Sea region. The service also includes feeder operators serving two of WWL’s regular East Mediterranean ports, Piraeus and Derince. WWL will be handling various types of rolling and tracked equipment, as well as static and project cargo on mafi trailers to Novorossiysk. WWL is a global provider of roll-on/roll-off shipping and factory-to-dealer logistics services. It also specializes in project cargoes such as railcars, power generators, mining equipment and yachts. The company has a fleet of 60 vessels.
