Yusen Logistics has launched two new services for temperature-controlled products in Asia.
Suzhou Yusen Logistics Service Co., Ltd., a warehousing subsidiary of Yusen Logistics located in Suzhou, China, has opened a temperature- and humidity-controlled chamber at its general bonded zone warehouse in the Suzhou Industrial Park. The location is a two-hour drive from Shanghai Pudong International Airport and is 90 minutes from the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Port. With 16,404 square feet of warehousing space, it serves as an export-import logistics hub for customers doing business in Eastern China. It provides bonded storage, packaging, leveling and other logistics services. In addition, Yusen Logistics has expanded its cross-border trucking services in Indochina with the launch of temperature-controlled, less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation for food products. The service deploys reefer trucks to move food products and other chilled cargo. The provider employs thermal blankets to minimize the impact of external temperatures and maintain product freshness. Yusen said it is already providing cold-chain transportation between Ho Chi Minh and Phnom Penh, Vietnam.
