2002 Advertising Rates
Banners
There are a total of three banner positions for each site category. A banner placed in one particular category is rotated on all pages contained in that category, with a maximum of four other companies rotating per banner position. Due to the volume of advertising on SupplyChainBrain.com, an exclusive banner position is very hard to come by. However, all advertisers maximize their presence on the site by rotating banners in a minimum of five different site categories. See back cover for a list of current category options. A rotation is counted on every single page view. Thus, if a given page in your category registers 5,000 page views in a specific week, your company banner on that page will have been seen by approximately 1,000 viewers. Contracts are available for six or 12 months only. You can run the same banner in all selected categories or all different ones. It's up to you.
Banner size: 125 x 125 pixels.
Sponsorships
Exclusive sponsorships are available on a first-come, first-served basis for all site categories except the home page. A sponsorship includes your company logo and tag line placed underneath the specific category headline which clearly indicates your company as a sponsor of that category. Your logo will not rotate with any other company in that category during your contract period. Exclusive sponsorships are available for six or 12 months only.
Maximum sponsorship size: 220 x 70 pixels.
Traffic Builder
Each SupplyChainBrain.com advertiser participates in our "Traffic Builder" program which entitles the advertiser to three "Press Links" with each of their category listings. "Press Links" are a great way to help build traffic on your web site and, more importantly, they will increase awareness of the recent news and successes of your company. Anytime throughout your contract period, you can send us headlines of no more than ten words along with matching URL addresses which link viewers to the exact information sources. Once submitted, these "Press Links" will be displayed under your basic listings, usually within 24 hours. You can exchange one link for another or eliminate links as you wish.
Newsletter Advertisements
In addition to banners and sponsorships, your company can place 50-word advertisements plus web links within the newsletters themselves. Not only are the newsletters seen by thousands of weekly viewers on SupplyChainBrain.com, but they are also sent to thousands of additional executives who request to receive them each week via e-mail. There are, however, a limited number of ad positions available. Only three companies can run a 50-word advertisement in each weekly newsletter. Companies buy packages of ads only, with a maximum of 13 ads per year for each advertiser so no one company can completely monopolize a given newsletter. Check with your representative for space availability.
