AWhere Debuts Store-Level Sales Performance Intelligence Solution for CPG Industry

AWhere Inc. says its CPG Vision product is a location intelligence solution for the consumer packaged goods industry that allows users to see store-level sales performance alongside key consumer trends, demographics and other store performance indicators.

CPG Vision features the AWhere OneTouch Wizard that directly imports and maps data from Wal-Mart's Retail Link online POS application.

AWhere says category managers can immediately view product velocity and inventory across all 3,800 Wal-Mart and 600 Sam's Club stores, indexed to national and market levels.

The solution is reportedly unique in allowing category managers to merge IRI, Nielsen, Spectra or SPINS market data to view in geographic context with POS sales data at store and market levels.

It also provides daily 10-day weather forecasts assigned to each Wal-Mart store, allowing users to simultaneously view weather patterns and inventory to evaluate weather impact.
