Cortera Launches B2B Purchase Insights Service for Sales, Marketing and Finance

Cortera has launched a B2B Purchase Insights offering, enabling sales, marketing and finance executives to better research and understand their customers, prospects and suppliers.

The company is a provider of business-to-business payment and purchase data and insights for U.S. companies. The new tool increases visibility into what business partners purchase, how they pay and how their behavior changes over time. Companies can track active and potential customers' purchasing history and spending patterns to understand their financial health, make educated predictions on what they are likely to purchase in future, and understand the associated risks. They can draw on the same type of purchase-behavior tracking that has long been the foundation of consumer marketing, Cortera said. B2B Purchase Insights can be accessed via Cortera Pulse, an application for monitoring a business's financial health; through Cortera Deep Dive Reports; appended in batch processing via Cortera Data Boost, or uploaded directly to major IT systems via Cortera Connect, the company's system-to-system application programming interface.
