DataLogic Adds Wireless Imager to Family of Products

Datalogic ADC, a vendor of automatic data capture and imaging technologies, has added the PowerScan PBT9500 imager to its PowerScan 9500 family of products.

The reader uses Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology, allowing for Class 1 or 2 configuration via software. It features a long-lasting battery that provides more than one shift of intensive scanning, and a three-second battery charge when needed, Datalogic said. The cradle charger offers a variety of options, such as additional battery slots and multiple interfaces. The imager cradle supports up to four devices connected in a Piconet. The PowerScan 9500 series also features "Green Spot" technology, allowing for visual good-read feedback and Motionix motion-sensing capability.
