DiCentral Acquires EDI, Data-Integration Products From Emanio

DiCentral, a vendor of software for B2B integration and electronic data interchange (EDI) to the supply chain, has acquired the EDI and data-integration products Trading Partner and Unite! from Emanio, Inc. According to DiCentral, the deal will help customers to simplify and automate the way they communicate with customers, partners and suppliers, both through on-premise and cloud-computing delivery models. More than 2,000 customers in the retail, manufacturing, healthcare, communications and distribution industries use Trading Partner and Unite! to translate, integrate and analyze EDI transactions. Emanio chief executive officer KG Charles-Harris said DiCentral's complementary technology made it the logical choice as a buyer of his company's EDI and data-integration products. Emanio will focus on its business-intelligence and predictive analytics products, Context! and Insight! DiCentral's suite of supply-chain applications for retailers and suppliers include EDI testing, global enablement, Web EDI and managed services.
