D.W. Morgan Increases Presence in Mexico

The D.W. Morgan Co. has increased its physical presence in Mexico, with the leasing of space at the Parque Industrial Jalisco in Guadalajara. The new 12,000-square-foot warehouse will provide service to high-tech companies in Mexico's version of Silicon Valley, the company said. The increase in warehouse space comes several months after Morgan established a corporate presence in Mexico. The warehouse is located near a major highway, and is a short distance from Aeropuerto Internacional Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla. Morgan's dedicated fleet of trucks in Mexico can transport goods and materials for high-tech manufacturers throughout the country and to North America. The Mexico operation will work closely with the company's Texas-based facilities in Austin, Dallas, Houston and Laredo. The warehouse features security fencing with guarded access, and closed-circuit video monitoring of the exterior and interior.
