The ITSM self-service portal uses Microsoft SharePoint technologies, while ITSM Business Intelligence draws on Microsoft SQL Service Analysis Services and Reporting Services. Epicor ITSM 2010 introduces new dashboard functionality to aid in the setting up of charts and gauges based on ITSM data and external sources. In a related development, Epicor has partnered with Hitachi Data Systems Corp. to integrate the latter's IT Operations Analyzer with Epicor's ITSM application. As an independent software vendor of Hitachi, Epicor becomes the first IT Service Desk provider to integrate its business software with the Hitachi IT Operations Analyzer.
