Flash Global Logistics Moves Into New Parts D.C. at Chicago's O'Hare Airport

Flash Global Logistics, a provider of services for critical parts and products, has moved into its new Flagship Parts Distribution Center at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport.

The facility covers 107,000 square feet of rentable warehouse space, with 10 high dock doors and a drive-up ramp for smaller vehicles. The location at O'Hare gives Flash Global clients immediate access to more than 200 daily non-stop locations throughout the world, via major cargo carriers and overnight couriers. The D.C. employs advanced telecommunications and networking technology, designed to enhance the speed and quality of transactions flowing through FlashTrac, the vendor's service supply-chain system. The facility is climate controlled and equipped with the latest fire-suppression gear. In addition to offering distribution capabilities, it provides space that is configurable to provide special value-added services, including subassembly, kitting, level-1 testing, reverse logistics and testing and repair. Flash Global has operations in more than 80 countries.
