HighJump Issues Advanced Billing Management for Logistics Providers

HighJump Software has released HighJump Billing Management, an application aimed at third-party logistics providers, logistics service providers and outsourced service providers. According to HighJump, the tool is designed to improve billing accuracy and capture charges on a client-by-client basis. Users can achieve visibility into actual costs with comparisons to what was invoiced. The software replaces the practice of spreading client costs evenly across all accounts, which can lead to oversimplified and incorrect analyses. Client-level costing enables accurate labor costs, as well as profit-and-loss analysis and reporting, HighJump said. The application also supports the complex contractual requirements that often exist between an LSP and its clients, including billing based on material-handling transactions, storage-capacity utilization and client-specific billing requirements. HighJump Billing Management creates a single billing platform for all systems. It integrates with the vendor's Warehouse Advantage and other warehouse-management systems, automatically generating the appropriate charges based on warehouse activity. In the process, users eliminate the need to enter charges manually.
