Version 10.4 provides a framework for manufacturing and distribution companies to bridge the gap between operational reality and financial objectives, the vendor said. The release features Infor’s 10x technology, which utilizes Infor ION middleware and the social collaboration engine Infor Ming.le. Social S&OP provides a single point to review planning alerts, exceptions, outstanding tasks and workflows. It also provides S&OP Xpress, pre-built content that allows for rapid implementation of Infor S&OP. The tool includes preconfigured reporting, workflows, key performance indicators and planning. S&OP 10x also includes a playbook component to organize pre-S&OP meeting reports into structured chapters, and automatically generate formatted Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. Infor GIS capabilities provide users with a visualization of demand and supply, including information on which products are performing best, and where costs are a concern.
