Itelligence Buys SAP-Based Business Operations of Software AG in North America

Itelligence, a provider of SAP-based services for small and medium-sized businesses, has purchased the SAP consulting, license and maintenance operations of Software AG in the U.S. and Canada.

At the same time, the company is opening a new branch in Toronto for the English-speaking Canadian market. Itelligence's offerings are based on the SAP Business All-in-One suite of software applications. They include license sales, consulting, business intelligence and a variety of managed services, including application hosting at 10 data centers worldwide. Itelligence operates in 21 countries and five regions of the world. In 2006, it achieved gold-level status as an SAP channel partner in Germany, and in 2007 the U.S. The deal, involving acquisition of the former IDS Scheer business of Software AG, calls for the company to take over the majority of approximately 50 Software AG employees in the U.S. and Canada.
