It's Brazil's Time Now, Trade Lawyer Believes

Brazil's time in the sun has finally come, says Andrew Janszky, managing partner of the Sao Paulo office of U.S. law firm Milbank Tweed.

"The sixties were the decade of German researchers, the seventies and the eighties were more with the Japanese, then came the Asian tigers [and] it has been China's turn for 10 years," he says. "I very sincerely believe it is our turn now. It is not a solo act, but I believe we get our chance to be important players on the stage."

His comments come amid the release of impressive trade and economic development figures for a number of South American countries, particularly Brazil, and a growing middle class.
