Kewill Issues Update of Order-Management, e-Invoicing App

Kewill has developed a new version of its Web-based application for order management. The update of EasyTrade Web Edition allows open-community collaboration between companies and suppliers, enabling the electronic exchange of orders and e-invoices.

Enhancements in version 18 include a document print-management module, which lets suppliers produce labels in the correct style for their retail customers. They can exchange multiple electronic business documents, including orders, purchase orders, dispatch notes, delivery notes and invoices, with single or multiple trading partners. All automated electronic data interchange transactions are conducted at the supplier end, eliminating the need for locally installed specialist software or hardware, Kewill said. The vendor works with major retailers to ensure that data is exchanged in the user's preferred format, and follows the correct workflow. Other enhancements include the introduction of a forecasting model and the ability to print price catalogues.
