Kewill Launches New Version of Supply-Chain App for Retailers

Kewill has developed version 5.0 of its Kewill Trade software, which manages the direct dispatch of goods from supplier to customer or store, for multichannel, catalogue and internet retailers.

According to the vendor, the new release allows for smoother and faster deployment, while enabling the production of fully branded labels and documents. Kewill Trade supports the electronic exchange of order data and documentation through automation of the direct-dispatch process. It provides retailers with visibility of orders that are fulfilled by direct-dispatch suppliers. It can be scaled to support thousands of trading partners through a hosted portal setup, while also offering integration with financials and self-billing for higher-volume suppliers. The update was developed with the use of open standards such as Java, Web services and XML. It can be configured in line with customers' unique order-fulfillment and control processes. Among the features of version 5.0 is a new document print-management module, which enables a broad range of high-quality documents for use by suppliers delivering to end customers.
