Manual Details How to Draft a Successful Vested Outsourcing Agreement

Palgrave Macmillan has published The Vested Outsourcing Manual: A Guide for Creating Successful Business and Outsourcing Agreements, a companion how-to guide to Vested Outsourcing: Five Rules That Will Transform Outsourcing, said to be in its seventh printing.

Each volume was written by Kate Vitasek, a faculty member at the University of Tennessee's Center for Executive Education, and several co-authors. Vitasek is also founder of Supply Chain Visions, a consulting firm that specializes in supply chain strategy and education.

In the Manual, Vitasek  maps 10 critical elements that all companies must include in any agreement with its supplier to the University of Tennessee's Five Rules of Vested Outsourcing. From shared-vision, desired outcomes to win-win and long-term success, the manual will help managers build an a agreement vested in each other's success in three parts:

Part 1, Laying the Foundation, provides an overview of Vested Outsourcing and the Five Rules, the importance of a flexible framework and working collaboratively.
