Oracle Debuts JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Mobile Expense Management

Oracle Corp. has developed a mobile expense-management software application, under the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne brand.

According to the vendor, the new tool will help to reduce time to payment by enabling mobile workers to submit, review and approve expense reports in real time, regardless of location. They can monitor and track spending with preferred suppliers, then use that information to negotiate better travel-related contracts and benefits for employees. Built-in control features help users to increase compliance with corporate expense policies while promoting accurate reporting of employee expenditures. Elements of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Mobile Expense Management include self-service approval, purchase order approval and sales inquiry. The applications run on a number of mobile devices and are available to customers of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0.
