Oracle Enhances Supply Chain Management Cloud

Oracle Corp. has added two new products to the Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) Cloud: Oracle Planning Central Cloud and Oracle Manufacturing Cloud.

The first helps to streamline the plan-to-produce process into a single flow. The second allows businesses to set up and run production operations. In addition, Oracle has added capabilities to Oracle Order Management Cloud and across the entire Oracle SCM Cloud. The application can now support multiple order-capture sources, such as Oracle CPQ Cloud, Oracle Commerce Cloud, electronic data interchange and legacy systems. It includes its own built-in order capture, pricing and configurator capability, which can be used to provide cross-channel order maintenance and management. The new features allow manufacturers to operate in a cloud environment across the business processes of source to settle, ideas to commercialization, order to cash, and plan to produce.
