PhoenixNAP, a provider of cloud, dedicated server, co-location and infrastructure-as-a-service technology, has released its new Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) offering.

It was designed for automated recovery of Tier 1 applications and systems in the event of an unforeseen calamitous event. According to the vendor, DRaaS can help get critical data back online quickly, and can be customized to differing user needs. It incorporates software and virtual infrastructure to enable continuous replication and provide low recovery time and recover point objectives. The new product features Zerto’s BC/DR technology, and includes two complimentary DR tests per year and 30 days of free run time in the event of a disaster.
