RedPrairie Expands Into Argentina in Partnership With NetLogistiK

RedPrairie Corp. has signed an agreement with NetLogistiK to expand its marketing presence in Argentina. The deal calls for creation of a new development center in Buenos Aires. Engineers at the site initially will focus on RedPrairie supply-chain software to be deployed around the world. The two companies already work with a number of customers throughout Latin America, including Accel, Celsur, J. Cain, Farmacias del Ahorro, Grupo Dico, Liverpool, Multipack and Servicargo. Francisco Giral, chief executive officer of NetLogistiK, called the establishment of the center "a natural next step in our partnership," one that "will bolster an already thriving practice." Mike Mayoras, CEO of RedPrairie, said the development center will provide access to a talented resource pool for creating software and services in Latin America and globally. "This center will also establish a strong local presence, and result in superior customer service for our regional clients," he said.
