Report Focuses on Food Safety, Traceability and Government Legislation

Although the Food Safety and Modernization Act of 2010 was passed nearly a year ago, and food and beverage companies have had a significant period of time to calculate and understand its impact, and implement traceability solutions, there are still many issues and processes to be resolved or implemented before food and beverage enterprises can be considered 100-percent compliant.

Based on research conducted during September and October 2011 on 104 food and beverage companies, Aberdeen's 2011 Food Safety and Traceability report, Aberdeen's sixth annual report on the topic, focuses on general traceability capabilities and performance in the Food & Beverage industry, with a special focus on the act, FSMA10.
