RSI ID, RFID Tech Vendor, Debuts Channel Partner Program

RSI ID Technologies, a manufacturer of radio frequency identification antennas, inlays and tags, has introduced an RFID Channel Partner Certification Program. The Web-based venture includes a 13-course curriculum, designed to draw on RFID industry knowledge, increase awareness of the RSI product line, and prepare participants for the CompTIA RFID+ certification exam. Core classes include RFID Introduction, Best Practices, Supply Chain, Return on Investment, Reader Knowledge, Testing and Troubleshooting, Standards and Regulations, Tag Knowledge, Design Selection, Installation, Site Analysis, Physics and Peripherals. Upon completion of all 13 courses, graduates will receive a certificate of completion, along with the designation of RSI RFID Certified Channel Partner. In the past, RSI ID has handled partner training on an individual basis, the company said. With introduction of its online training portal, RSI ID found it could bring a growing list of partners up to speed more quickly and efficiently through a formalized education and certification program.
