Schneider Converts to All-Container Intermodal Fleet

Schneider National, the nationwide provider of truckload and logistics services, has completed a three-year program under which it converted its intermodal division to an all-container fleet. Bill Matheson, president of Schneider's Intermodal Services unit, said "there's no doubt" that containers will become the standard equipment for intermodal providers "in the very near future." Schneider National entered the intermodal market in 1991.
