Seko Unveils Expanded Gateway Location in Miami, Serving Latin America

Seko, a global provider of supply-chain services, has opened an expanded gateway office in Miami to service international trade to and from Central and South America. The larger facility offers 28,000 square feet of warehouse space, 14 dock doors, 600 rack spaces and round-the-clock video surveillance. It will serve as a key transshipment point for its expanding business in South America, where it recently opened offices in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Costa Rica, as well as to Caribbean destinations. The transit facility provides both air and ocean freight services for imports and exports. Seko also announced that it has developed a new integrated software program which provides visibility of freight once it arrives at the Miami gateway warehouse. The program scans and documents all data, and allows each office to specify the precise manner in which it prefers shipments to be distributed, including by category or by air or ocean transport. Serving as station manager of the Seko Miami Gateway office is Shaun Lones.
