Standard Register Unveils New Marketing Supply Chain Tool

Standard Register, a vendor of document-management systems and services for enhancing business reputation, has launched a new service to help manage the marketing supply chain.

The tool breaks down the supply chain into project-based packages for product launches, promotions and events. The packages provide marketers with an optimized workflow process, along with a single-source partner to manage the specification, sourcing, production, kitting and fulfillment of associated materials and tactics. The supply-chain packages initially will be delivered through Standard Register's existing delivery network, and will later transition to a new, 350,000-square-foot Center of Excellence. According to Standard Register, customers will acquire more flexible delivery options and improved speed to market for communications projects and services. Packages for product launches and promotions support the creation of product packaging, sales materials and retail point-of-sale materials. Packages for events support the development and distribution of branded materials, digital content and promotion items.
