TechniPak Opens New Logistics Facility in Sparks, NV

TechniPak, a provider of third-party fulfillment and logistics services, has opened a new facility in Sparks, Nev. The move allows for a one-day transit time to all locations in California, and two days to all other West Coast states, the company said. The location lends a bicoastal approach to the company's fulfillment services, offering both business-to-consumer and business-to-business shipping services. According to TechniPak president Mark Scheidt, the company now reaches 82 percent of the U.S. population in two days or less with ground delivery shipping. Strategically located close to the Port of Oakland, the new location will manage inbound container traffic for clients importing goods from overseas. TechiPak promises same-day turnaround on orders, along with Web-based account management. Products distributed by the company include nutritional and herbal supplements, educational tapes, CDs, books and dietary products. Sales are through e-commerce, catalog, print advertising, multi-level marketers and infomercials.
