Tianjin Now Part of Evergreen Service Between China and U.S.

Evergreen Line is adding the Port of Tianjin to its North China service network. The call will become part of the carrier's route in January. The Hatsu Envoy, with a capacity of 6,332 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), will commence the new weekly route with a sailing from Tianjin on Jan. 2. The rotation will be Tianjin, Shanghai, Ningbo, Qingdao, Los Angeles, Oakland and back to Tianjin. Evergreen said the move is being made to meet a growing need for cargo capacity from North China. The route links up directly with the line's global network, it added.
