TMW Systems Releases Fleet-Maintenance Software for Windows 9

TMW Systems, Inc., a vendor of business-management software for the transportation services industry, has released TMT Fleet Maintenance for Windows Version 9. The application is being offered by the company's Asset Maintenance Software business unit, previously known as TMT Software. According to TMW, the release helps companies performing fleet and equipment maintenance and repair operations to boost efficiency and electronically communicate with vendors, suppliers and original equipment manufacturers. Management gets a comprehensive accounting of vehicle maintenance and repair, with the ability to drill down into costs throughout an entire vehicle lifecycle. A new Customer Inquiry System (CIS) enables Web-based, self-service capabilities for repair center customers, including the ability to look up repair information for their fleets. At the same time, service centers can relay information on recalls, notifications and sales and marketing campaigns to customers via the internet. TMW describes itself as the enterprise resource planning system for fleet and repair operations.
