Transplace Expands Clout in Packaging, Chemicals with Acquisition of M33 Integrated

Transplace, a provider of transportation management services and logistics technology, has acquired M33 Integrated, a third-party logistics provider with strength in the packaging, chemical and advanced materials sectors.

M33 Integrated delivers a combination of technology tools, intelligence and consultative services to help shippers optimize logistics and reduce transportation costs to support business goals. Through its combination of proprietary technology and supply chain expertise, M33 Integrated delivers logistics solutions to a diverse customer base. M33 Integrated's Greensboro, N.C., operations center and Greenville, S.C., technology center will become the Transplace Southeastern Center of Excellence, and will operate as part of the company’s transportation management business, which is led by President Frank McGuigan.
