U.K.'s Notbox Company Extends Services to North America

The Notbox Company, a U.K.-based provider of multi-use transportation and storage boxes, has come to North America.

The company is now serving manufacturers, supply-chain professionals and consumers in the U.S. and Canada, through a partnership headed by former Wall Street financier Thomas Hellman. He is acting as chairman and president of Notbox North America. Notboxes are recyclable, multi-use boxes that fold flat when not in use. They are designed to replace traditional, single-use cardboard boxes. Notbox's European operation claims to have helped clients achieve cost savings of more than $10m, as well as prevent more than 15 million kilos of carbon dioxide emissions, by removing cardboard from their supply chains. Notboxes come in a range of sizes and colors and can be easily branded, the company said. Its product line includes "coolboxes" suitable for home use, as well as for industries such as healthcare.
