UPS Expands 'My Choice' and Access Point Services

UPS is expanding its My Choice service and Access Point Network.

My Choice is a customizable online and mobile offering. It allows consumers to choose delivery preferences and other service elements. Members receive advance-delivery notifications, informing them of the delivery timing of each UPS package. The tool will now be available in 15 additional countries throughout North America and Europe. The UPS Access Point Network consists of local businesses, primarily neighborhood convenience and grocery stores with evening and weekend hours. They are designed to be approximately 10 minutes or less from the consumer’s delivery address. In January, 2015, UPS plans to add all 4,400 of its UPS Store locations throughout the U.S. to the UPS Access Point network. Currently, there are more than 12,000 locations in seven European countries. UPS said it expects to have 20,000 locations in key markets throughout Europe and the Americas by the end of 2015.
