Zepol Corp. Enhances Its Trade-Intelligence Software

Zepol Corp. has introduced a pair of enhancements to its flagship trade-intelligence tool, TradeIQ. The changes make it easier to search for and extract precise trade data for U.S. importers and shippers, and to notify parties.

They include better-aggregated company lists and the ability to search by a specified range of measurements. According to Zepol, the additional filter options provide more accurate results for global organizations looking to locate U.S. importers and suppliers overseas. In addition, the upgrade has reduced the number of "unknown" shipments by 42 percent for consignees and 82 percent for shippers, Zepol claimed. TradeIQ contains more than 100 million searchable U.S. import bills of lading, collected directly from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The data can be used to monitor competitors, source new suppliers and generate leads. Zepol's TradeView provides Census Bureau data to help users visualize the U.S. import and export market. ComplianceIQ is a trade-compliance tool for research, classification and monitoring.
